Terms of use

Last updated 11 Oct 2026

Dabalee is free. Post honestly, never charge anyone for a job, and never ask for bond before someone has seen the room. We can remove listings and accounts that break these rules.

Using Dabalee

You need to be 18 or older to sign in. One account per person, with your real name. Anyone can browse without an account.

By signing in you agree to these terms and to our Privacy policy.

Listings

A listing must be real, current and yours to offer, written in English, Nepali or Hindi, with photos you own. Close it when the room is rented or the job is filled.

Job pay must meet the national minimum wage and any award that applies. You must never charge a job seeker a fee, and you must not discriminate in ways Australian law does not allow.

Room listings must say the rent per week and whether bills are included. Do not ask for a bond, deposit or holding fee before the person has seen the room.

Messages and conduct

Be respectful. No spam, scams, harassment or requests to move money outside the platform. We may read messages that have been reported.

Reports and removal

Anyone can report a listing or message. We may hide or remove listings and suspend or close accounts that break these terms, with or without notice. You can appeal through the Contact link at the bottom of every page.

Safety

We do not inspect rooms or workplaces. A badge means we completed the specific check it names, nothing more. Never pay before you have seen a room and met the host, never pay to get a job, and meet people in safe public places.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you post. You give us permission to show it on Dabalee, in share cards and in emails and notifications about it, until you remove it.

Our responsibility

Dabalee is provided as is. We are not a party to any tenancy or employment you arrange through it. Nothing here excludes guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law. Beyond those, our liability is limited as far as the law allows.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms. We will post the new date here and email account holders about changes that matter. These terms are governed by Australian law. To contact us, use the Contact link at the bottom of every page.
